Self-Service Appointment Feature
As a Dealerlogix customer, and with the enablement of the Self-Service Appointment feature, you will now be able to:
1. Managing appointment daily caps via “Service Manager Settings”.
2. Override Daily Capabilities with “Active Schedule Overrides”
3. Edit Advisor Daily Schedules with “Advisor Schedule Overrides”
Let’s get started.
Start by visiting a NEW tab within your profile “Settings” pop-up.
Now that you are enabled, you should see the new “Appointment Schedule” tab.
NOTE: if you do not see this tab, you are not enabled and should contact your training team and/or support to do so.
Service manager settings are where you manage the velocity and capacity of predicted available appointments within your dealership. As a Dealerlogix customer, you should know your “Daily Cap” and intervals as this may vary depending on your dealership package and settings.
This is a data entry field by day of the week. If on Monday you have a full staff and plan most appointments, set your daily cap appointments to be higher than Sunday when you are closed.
Active Schedule Overrides
Managing location hours “Open/Closed", or partial, with “Active Schedule Overrides”.
This will allow your location to be unique for predicted low capacity, holidays, unexpected outages, with a quick click.
Other modifications are the ability to:
1. Only allow “Web Appointments Only”, no walk-ins during this time.
2. Closed the store, no appointments, on a given day and/or period of time.
3. Manage department caps for “Express” and “Main Shop” appointments.
4. Transportation Caps – only 2 loaner vehicles available today, enter “2”.
Advisor Schedule Overrides
My advisor had to leave unexpectedly, or has planned the day off, I need the ability to quickly manage their scheduled appointments.
